We’ll also look at how to make it more unique while leaving room for your creativity!
Let us begin
STAGE 1:
As we mentioned in the introduction, Y is a letter that consists of three lines that meet at a single point. This will continue to be the case with this version of the bubble card. When you write a Y, it will use nice straight lines. We’ll try to make it look like a bubble, so we’ll avoid using straight lines. You can draw a normal Y to start with, preferably with something you can erase later. This guide letter can be drawn with straight lines, as it will form the skeleton of the bubble letter. As for the foremost string of this demand, we will maintain it uncomplicated. We will draw a simple curved line forming the beginning of the “arm” on the left. Just draw it as it appears on our reference image, and then we can move on to step 2.
2ND STEP:
In this second step, we will complete the first arm of the letter. To do this, continue with the line we started in step one. Just keep the line curved until it curls on itself, as seen in the reference image. This will give us the first rounded arm of the letter. All parts of this letter Y will have a rounded appearance and structure similar to this first arm. We’ll draw those parts in the next few steps, so when you’re happy with how they look, we can move on to the next part.
STEP 3:
In step 3, we’ll repeat what we did in step one for this bubble with the letter Y. This means we’ll draw another arm, except this one will look more like a leg. We mean that this rounded section will be where the letter sits. Just use another long curved line that connects to the first arm. Our example showed we made the leg short, but you can make it longer. That’s all there is to it for now! In the next step, we’ll finish the outline of your letter so we can add some fun interior details.
STAGE 4:
You can see a blank space at the top right of the letter; that is what we will fix now. This means drawing one more arm for the letter. You know how to do it now: one more curved line to fill the space. The reference image will show you how it should be angled. Once that’s drawn, we have our completed Y outline! However, we are still going, and this model opens up some possibilities that we will explore in the following steps. Once the plan is complete, we only need the regular Y we suggested adding in step one. If you drew it, you could delete this now, as it will clutter the page. Now let’s move on to step 5 and see some interior details we can add.
STEP 5:
You’ll also notice that we’ve counted some thin, barely curved lines inside the message. These will also help make it look like a bubble as they add depth to the design. This offers the parties we advise counting, but you can take a distinct method! There are all styles of fun points you could count. If you’re not so concerned about it looking like a bubble, you can cover it up with patterns or shapes. Not only would it look great, but it would also allow you to add more colours. There are so many possibilities for additional details! We’ll also review some other fun ideas for you to try after the next step, so stay tuned.
STEP 6:
We use lighter and darker shades of this blue so that if you’re not so concerned about it looking like a bubble, you can cover it up with patterns or shapes. Not only would it look great, but it would also allow you to add more colours. There are so many possibilities for additional details! We’ll also review some other fun ideas for you to try after the next step, so stay tuned.
